Mission
The future of the biosphere will depend on how people interact with other living things within the zone of life. The biosphere is made up of the parts of Earth where life exists, it extends from the deepest root systems of trees to the dark environment of ocean trenches, to lush rain forests and high mountaintops. Our mission is to fund projects that establish a scientific basis for enhancing the relationship between people and their environments.
Goal
Our goal is to combine the natural and social sciences with a view to improving human livelihoods and safeguarding natural and managed ecosystems, thus promoting innovative approaches to economic development that are socially and culturally appropriate and environmentally sustainable.

We are a nonprofit in the making with a 501(c)(3) registration pending. We do our best to help others pursue new and exciting research that can further our understanding of the complex inter relationship in the biosphere.
